SOUND OR VOICE OF THE LORD; How Can One Tell Which Is Which?

I hear much about what "sound" is being brought forth...but not so much as just what is a "sound" as opposed to the actual hearing the Lord speak? Can anyone out there please tell me just what is a "sound"? This reminds me of the scripture: "there are, it may be, so many kinds of voice in the world, and none of them is without significance." I Corin.14:10

Not all sounds - make the same sound as in distinctive tones and levels, pitch etc. When I say "there is a sound" and I believe this for others as well (let's here from the rest of this community) -- I mean a commonality of tone or level as it pertains to what God is saying to the body as whole -- so that there is a common thing that God is speaking of doing on a variety of levels in the body or on the earth. The voice -- is more specific -- a particular word at a given moment -- and then when this same word or spirit in the word is released through other prophetic voices -- it makes a sound. (Hey how does our eagles here relate to this topic and issue?)

Is this like the "sound" coming through prophetic voices that NOW, God is releasing His prophets and other prophetic people from their "caves" to "come forth" and do whatever He purposed for them at this particular time in the end-times? Because if it is, then I think the sound has now become His Voice...if I'm not mistaken.

But I want to mention that in the Scriptures, every time a sound from heaven is mentioned, the sound comes to announce a new era. Rev 14: 2 �And I heard a voice from heaven�� KJV or �And I heard a sound from heaven��NIV. New era announced: The Lord�s judgment. Acts 2:2 �And suddenly there came a sound from heaven��: New era: The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to empower believers to advance the Kingdom of God after the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost. Gen 3:8 �Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God��NIV or �And they heard the voice of the LORD God��KJV : New era: Beginning of life outside of the Garden of Eden. Today the sound from heaven manifested through the many individual voices of God�s spokesmen should be taken seriously. We should pay attention to the many words spoken because they really are one word. As stated by Eagle1, it is �a particular word at a given moment�. Administrator Posts: 247 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: April 28, 2008	voice speaks of clarity a sound is part of the voice when the unison of prophetic sounds (messages) come forth -- we identify it as a voice. ultimately as a prophetic people we must be able to recognize both
