Cleft of the Rock Member Posts: 241 Group: Community Member #203 Joined: September 23, 2008	In the prophetic in-sync podcast: 'The Pulse Of The Prophetic', the points which stand out the most to me are: The fact that God IS still speaking. He did NOT STOP with the WRITTEN Word. I SEE how Prophetess, Lugo accentuates The TWO Words spoken to Abraham, concerning his son Isaac. IT makes so much sense how she makes the comparison between the PRE-ceeding Word Vs. the PRO-ceeding Word, spoken to Abraham. To me, When she states the PURPOSE of the frist word, Abraham received, in comparison to the 2nd word He received, IT makes me SEE God in a certain way. God has a history of TESTING a man. One can NOT deny that fact/ particular aspect of the accounts in Biblical Accounts of the lives of Mankind. I don't NOT UNDERSTAND the WHY'S of THIS particular TRAIT of God-Most High, But IT is the ONLY thing I have to go on in the way of discerning God, for myself. I keep forgetting THIS aspect of God, because when I think of 'TESTING'S, I THINK OF TEMPTATIONS-for it wouldn't be a TEST IF there wasn't a weakness to be exposed. AND Knowing that, "God can NOT be tempted with Evil"- always threw me off- as it pertains to TESTINGS- You follow??? There ARE 'Testings' of 'faithfulness', and there are 'Testings' of 'fruitfulness'. FAITHFULNESS-proves loyalty, BUT... FRUITFULNESS-proves LEVEL of growth. Ummmm!!! THEY ARE VERY DIFFERENT, INDEED. Hummmmm???... People In the history of the church in my life have NEVER TRULY Accentuate THIS VITAL VITAL aspect of God; and I don't know the WHY's of THAT either. But I smell a rat. A big UGLY rat. The lies we feed ourselves in order to attain 'favor' with God, are in- credible. There are aspects of God we refuse to consider because of HOW He 'depicts' Himself to us. WHY does God have to SEE our DEEDS??? I always asked myself...- Doesn't He know what THEY'LL be??? I DO understand the PRINCIPLE. God has to have the actual ACT OCCUR for the sake of-ACTUAL RECORDS... NOW I ask myself: Doesn't God say, "Love does NOT keep a 'record' of wrong doings?!?"... And thus, the wheels go round and round... Whewwww...selah... In all this, I personally SEE in retrospect WHY I have gone through alot of the things I have gone through in life. 'TESTING' is inevitable. I accept God's methods. I embrace them wholly NOW, and AGAIN, I request His Pardon for my rebelliousness, considering/in light of THIS REVELATION. I didn't understand... I DO NOW. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I had a Pastor once-who's gone on to be with The Lord, I'm SURE; who used to say, "What can NOT be TESTED, can NOT be TRUSTED". I SEE- NOW, that the 'TESTINGS' are NOT for God's benefit, but OURS. IF we 'pass' a test, we know IT, IF we don't, WE know IT. ...and God eliminates the uncertainty aspect from OUR SELVES. I also see THIS as GOD giving US the honorable opportunity to FESS-up to whatever our weakness' or confidences may be. I see alot of things in retrospect that make much more sense when I look at them in THIS light then the dimness I used to hold some accounts in. All-In-All: It has been a truly productive series of Audio's I have listened to on THIS Forum...IN ALL AREAS. So Thank You, Prophetess Sandra aka eagle1. Newbie Posts: 16 Group: Community Member #257 Joined: May 17, 2009	I conqur, agree and confirm! Honestly, it was reassuring to hear - "God still speaks." We know it but we don't expect it -- not is a present tense -- personally and individually. Awesome word!
