Hello Brethren, Wow, I hardly know where to start. Sometimes I think I'm Sooo knowledgeable of the things of God. But I'm NOT. And to the Glory of God, I will say that EVERY PAINFUL event that occurs in our individual 'world', is NOT a 'sentence' / judgment. Some things are ACTUALLY pruning season. I thus conclude, "PRUNING HURTS." Again, Pruning and Judgement are Sooooo alike-in feeling, and in appearance to ourselves and even others in outward structure. They both manifest to the receiver, as chastisement of a sort. Thus, envoking questions from everyone AROUND US, even ourselves, whether OUR seeming hard place is 'Judgement' from God, or Pruning from God. I NEVER TRULY UNDERSTOOD THAT PRINCIPLE. TODAY, I must apologized to God, AGAIN. ALL MY LIFE- I've ACCUSED God of 'chastising' me too often. It never truly occured to me that the pain I was complaining about was NOT chastisement, but Honorable 'Pruning'.-- THERE IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE, though IT doesn't feel different. Therefore, because pruning causes an appearance, of chastisement, It is easy to get fooled into thinking God is dealing with us in a stern manner- Never even concluding that the pain may be a form of elevation. A initiation {so to speak} into the NEXT place we have been thrusted into. So, I Thank God for revealing the difference between these two seemingly familiar Emphatic Phases. And I am even honored to see this in this light because IT is truth.  No pain, No gain...seeker-2009 |
